I think this is a real good shot (shows the busy pace of the city) maybe some things I would change about shooting (but that is just me)

As you become more interested in photography and what you can do with your camera (a very nice camera) you will move from just "capturing an instant in time" to "crafting a photograph that tells a story" or a picture that invokes memories for you and your viewers.
